We look at location, the type of stay a property offers, and how it fits a traveller’s plans. A harbour hotel, a countryside estate and a beach resort solve different needs. We explain those differences and the trade-offs rather than treating every hotel as the right choice for everyone.

Our collection includes luxury hotels and selected boutique and premium properties. Inclusion is an editorial choice, not a claim that every property has a five-star classification.

Research you can follow

Hotel overviews link to the operator’s official website and state when the location, overview and listed facilities were checked. These are researched guides; they do not imply that our team has personally stayed at every property. Room categories, seasonal services and hotel policies should be confirmed for your booking.
